Suzanne and Simon married at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, which is an early 20th-century town hall in the Borough of Westminster in London. It was such a fun wedding, relaxed and quirky.

Suzanne opted for the Dorset Square Hotel, a beautiful Regency townhouse overlooking a private garden square which was the original site of Thomas Lord’s first cricket ground. There was definitely a humorous nod to cricket in the decor of this hotel. Being only moments away from Old Marylebone Town Hall Suzanne, her father and their flower girl chose to walk to the ceremony. This is always so much fun and such a great photo opportunity. With so many new and improved rooms available to the discerning couple Old Marylebone Town Hall is a great choice for a London wedding. Offering chic, class, and elegance in the heart of the city.

Old Marylebone Town Hall is perfect for intimate weddings. If you are wanting a relaxed civil ceremony, it is one of the best places to marry in London, The venue offers a variety of rooms for ceremonies. Suzanne and Simon opted for the Knightsbridge room. The Old Marylebone Town Hall has recently been renovated with beautifully decorated rooms and furnishings.  Nearby there are some fabulous London streets and sites perfect for photos.

 

The reception

The couple took their guests on a London Routemaster tour of the city and ended up at the Half Moon Pub for their reception. The Half Moon has been holding music gigs since the 1960’s and has a reputation being one of London’s best live music venues. It’s decor is certainly music themed which fit in so well with the couples rock and roll theme. They finished off the evening with their very own gig by one of the greatest tribute bands, The Rollin’ Stoned.

Suzanne wore a stylish dress by Lanvin and Simon wore a navy suit and they looked really perfect. Suzanne’s gorgeous shoes were by Repetto and her flowers by renowned florist Jane Packham.

The couple got in touch with me last year, and their Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding sounded so much fun. This wedding was an intimate and fun affair which truly reflected the couples personalities. They said that they wanted a relaxed photographer and I love working with laid back and relaxed couples like Suzanne and Simon.
