STUBTON HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Stubton Hall is a stunning 19th Century country house set in the Lincolnshire countryside with amazing grounds and fabulous water feature. I was privileged to have the opportunity to be a Stubton Hall wedding photographer.
Natalie & Darren decided this was the venue that would be perfect to host their wedding reception. Exclusive use of the house, rooms and grounds for their day ensured it was indeed a wonderful place for their nearest and dearest to gather and celebrate their marriage.
The couple chose to be married in the nearby church at Claypole, the family village. Because the couple currently live in London they hired a London Routemaster to transport their guests to and from the church.
Natalie looked stunning in her Caroline Castigliano gown and wore a gold pair of Jimmy Choo’s to complete her look. Her bridesmaids wore beautiful pale blue dresses from Reiss. Whilst not forgeting the very cute flower girl and page boy who admirably lead the procession down the aisle.
Darren looked very handsome in his suit from Hugo Boss as he greeted guests at the church before the ceremony, he wore it well.
The couple’s journey back to Stubton Hall was halted at the railway crossing, a short wait and time for a chat. As well as a photo opportunity as the train rushed past.
The Reception drinks were in good swing, with a harpist, canapés and the sun shining down on a glorious June day. Natalie & Darren exited the Hall to a shower of confetti and the festivities were well on the way.
The wedding breakfast took place in the Orangery, attached to the Hall, a lovely room full of light. The warm summer’s evening was perfect for guests to chill out before the evening began with dancing and entertainment by the band Ruby Street Soul Club.
“There are moments, above all on June evenings,
when the lakes that hold our moons are sucked into the earth,
and nothing is left but wine and the touch of a hand.”
