GARDEN MARQUEE WEDDING
Sarah & Adam married on a glorious summer day in July. The kind of summer day in England which you can hope for but definitely not expect. Sarah & Adam had chosen a country garden marquee wedding reception which wouldn’t have been so accommodating due to any summer showers.
The day was filled with laughter, family, friends, and especially love. From the formal, yet personal ceremony in the beautiful church at Pickering to the informal, beautiful reception in Adam’s parents’ garden. Will’s Marquees traditional canvas and pole marquee looked stunning and the styling inside was perfect, so simple yet so effective.
There were so many elements of this wedding which were delightful: mismatched bridesmaid dresses in tones of pinks; Sarah’s stunning Elizabeth Stuart gown and Adam’s stylish suit; village fete games on the lawn and festooned lighting through the trees, which looked so magical at dusk.
A “family tree” of family photographs adorned a tree in the garden, with empty frames hanging from the trees creating perfect photo opportunities for the guests. In addition, hay bale seating was laid out and a collection of flower containers welcomed guests into the marquee. Long trestle tables in the marquee harked back to a bygone era and the sharing platters of food. Consequently, all these elements helped create a relaxed atmosphere of fun and love.
Most of all, Sarah and Adam had created a day with beautiful details, wonderful food, fabulous scenery, and great entertainment. Furthermore, they had thought of their guests at every point and yet hadn’t lost the importance of their union, their marriage, and their love for each other.
