Where are you based & how far will you travel?

 

I live in the beautiful cit of York in North Yorkshire. However, I love to travel and have covered weddings throughout the UK and across Europe.
All travel costs are included in UK collections.

 

How would you describe your style?

 

Fine Art aesthetic with a documentary approach. My style is all about getting real, honest emotions and natural, beautiful images.

 

How long have you been a wedding photographer?

I shot my first wedding in January 2001, so 20 years now! I went full time in 2007 and never looked back.

 

How many weddings do you photograph a year?

I like to give my couples the very best experience and to not rush the editing process. Therefore, I only like to take on around 15-20 weddings a year. So, do get in touch quickly to check I have your date free.

 

DO YOU RECOMMEND ADDING A SECOND PHOTOGRAHER?

If you are having a large number of guests at your wedding, would like both groom and bridal prep covered or different angles during the ceremony then I would suggest booking a second photographer.

This ensures that you will receive a wider coverage of your day.

 

ARE YOU INSURED?

 

Yes I am.As well as equipment insurance I have public liability and indemnity insurance.

 

 

 

DO YOU DO GROUP PORTRAITS?

 

Yes I do! I suggest around no more than 5 group portraits. I do a combination of formal and relaxed images and I don't take long so that you can enjoy more time with your friends and family.

 

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

Depending on the hourly coverage you book you will receive no less than 300 - 600 images. These will be fully edited and high resolution.

 

HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS?

I do not like to keep couples waiting months for their photographs. I believe this to be a crazy situation for them to be in and so I aim to have the photographs edited within 3-6 weeks of the wedding date.
I send a sneak peek of selected images to the couple a few days after the wedding.

 

DO YOU HAVE BACK UP EQUIPMENT?

 

Yes I do! I would never head to a wedding without back ups of everything. This includes, cameras, flash guns, batteries and memory cards.

What will happen if you cannot photograph our wedding?

In the 20 years I have been shooting weddings I have never been in the position where I could not shoot a wedding.
However, I am fully aware that unforeseen circumstances can arise.

I am a member of a number of photographer networks. I can call on these groups for back up in case of emergency.
