I hope this helps
I live in the beautiful city of York in North Yorkshire. However, I love to travel and have covered weddings throughout the UK and Europe.
All travel costs are included in UK collections.
Fine Art aesthetic with a documentary approach. My style is about getting real, honest emotions and natural, beautiful images.
I shot my first wedding in January 2001, so over 20 years now! I went full-time in 2007 and never looked back.
I like to give my couples the very best experience and not rush the editing process. Therefore, I only like to take on around 15-20 weddings a year. So, do get in touch quickly to check I have your date free.
If you are having a large number of guests at your wedding and would like both groom and bridal prep covered or different angles during the ceremony then I would suggest booking a second photographer.
This ensures that you will receive a wider coverage of your day.
Yes, I am. As well as equipment insurance I have public liability and indemnity insurance.
Yes I do! I suggest around no more than 5 group portraits. I do a combination of formal and relaxed images and I don't take long so that you can enjoy more time with your friends and family.
Depending on the hourly coverage you book you will receive no less than 300 - 600 images. These will be fully edited and high resolution.
I do not like to keep couples waiting months for their photographs. I believe this to be a crazy situation for them to be in and so I aim to have the photographs edited within 4-6 weeks of the wedding date.
I send a sneak peek of selected images to the couple a few days after the wedding.
Yes, I do! I would never head to a wedding without backups of everything. This includes cameras, flash guns, batteries and memory cards.
In the 20+ years I have been shooting weddings I have never been in the position where I could not shoot a wedding.
However, I am fully aware that unforeseen circumstances can arise.
I am a member of several photographer networks. I can call on these groups for backup in case of emergency.
