Yorkshire wedding photography | Lorna & Nicky | Monk Fryston Hall

“You and me were always with each other
Before we knew the other was ever there
You and me, we belong together
Just like a breath needs the air”

Lorna & Nicky were married on a beautiful spring day in early April at Monk Fryston Hall in the Vale of York.

Nicky and his groomsmen chose to wear fabulous individual tweed suits in a variety of colours, whilst Lorna’s bridesmaids were pretty in  grey lilac dresses fromDebut at Debenhams. Lorna wore a stunning gown with a beautiful lace overlay.

The day was truly a family affair, with Lorna’s cousin on hair duties and Nicky’s auntie creating the florals and bouquets. Lorna’s dad made the wood cake board as well as all the wooden table numbers and her brother breed a special beer for the occasion.

Monk Fryston has some gorgeous grounds which we took full advantage of for the couples portrait shoot. After the wedding breakfast I took Lorna and Nicky down to the covered bridge for some photographs during the golden hour of light which we were fortunate to enjoy on the day.
