Trudie & Jason | a wedding in St Michael’s, Lancashire
Trudie, who had taken a fashion and design degree at university and is super creative, had wanted to use a natural piece of linen for her dress. This linen, which in a former life was a bed sheet, then dust sheet draped and fell beautifully into her stunning skirt. After a speedy shopping trip a coupe of weeks earlier we found this crocheted top in Zara which, after a few tweeks was the perfect companion to the skirt. Trudie had never wanted to wear a conventional wedding dress but was concerned her creation wouldn’t cut the mustard – she needn’t have worried she looked amazing and was perfectly Trudie 🙂
During the signing of the register guests were treated to a song written and sung by Simon Middleton and accompanied by his friend Molly on the cello. Jason and Trudie met Simon on their holiday Fueraventura back in January whre he lives and plays with his band Korsak. Simon flew over to sing at the wedding and flew back to Spain the following day!
